

The Reverend Oscar Boloko is Canadian citizen originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He lives in Ottawa for more than 19 years. He is married and has 4 children.
Rev. Boloko is an Alumina of three major Canadian Universities: He holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Ottawa University; a Bachelor degree in Theology from St. Paul University, and Masters of Divinity from Queen’s University.
Apart of his pastoral care and ministries, Reverend Boloko has taught French as Second Language in école de Langues de l’ Estrie, Cité Collégiale, and to the Federal government employees. He works as volunteer with Ottawa Police Service to deter crime and building a safer community. Rev. Boloko’s model in ministry is the late Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.
Rev. Oscar Boloko is an active and advocate for democracy, equal rights and Restorative Justice for many NGO’s and Community organization: He is the Founder of a school project in DRC with his NGO called “DIACOCAN Inc. “;Co-Founder and Former President of Canadian Congolese Congress; Vice-President of African Canadian Association of Canada; Ambassador for Peace with Universal Peace Federation; Former International Election Observer in Haiti and DRC.
In 2011, Rev. Boloko went back to DRC to be candidate for the Parliamentary elections in DRC, but was denied because of his involvement with Congolese Diaspora activities. The elections in DRC were fraudulent and undemocratic.
Rev. Boloko is partisan of leveraging Immigrants’ skills through active engagement in providing knowledge and capacity building in the National Capital Region.
